The biannual International Conference on Marine Science (ICMS) is a premier platform in South America for advancing marine sciences, bringing together experts from across the globe to address the most pressing issues in marine and coastal environments. ICMS provides a vibrant interdisciplinary space where thought leaders and innovators connect to explore environmental change, its impact on ecosystems and society, and pioneering solutions for sustainable marine and coastal management.

Aruba: A Paradisiacal Venue Committed to Ocean Protection

This year, ICMS welcomes you to Aruba, a stunning Caribbean island known for its protected beaches and commitment to ocean conservation. Aruba’s rich marine biodiversity, including initiatives for reef conservation and programs to protect endangered turtle species, makes it an inspiring venue for this international gathering.

From May 26-28, our main host will be the University of Aruba, which has been implementing an innovative program to develop Sustainable Solutions for the Islands through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (SISSTEM).

Join ICMS in Aruba, where the world’s leading marine minds meet for actionable change.
